Pula aiport - PUY, is located in Valtura, 8 km from the city centre of Pula and 14 km from the holiday town Medulin. Pula airport is one of the smallest international airports in Croatia, yearly the airport handles about 400.000 passengers which almost exclusively arrive and depart on international flights.
Getting to and from airport Pula:
In connection with each arrival of low cost airlines there is a shuttle bus to Pula centre, and one shuttle bus which drives to Pula Verudela, Puntizela and Medulin, as well as one shuttle bus to Fazana, Rovinj, Porec, Novigrad and Umag. The two last shuttle bus "routes" only stop in the cities to where there are passengers. you can buy tickets for the shuttles here. NOTE: For the shuttle from Umag, Novigrad, Rovinj, Porec to Pula airport tickets has to be bought online.

NOTE: The travel time from the airport to Pula centre is under normal circumstances 15 minutes, but in July and August it can take a bit longer due to heavy traffic towards Pula. If you travel from Pula towards airport Pula, you will have to leave Pula 30 - 45 minutes before you have to check in. You can also ask the driver on the outgoing trip for advice regarding travelling back to the airport.
