Budapest Airport - BUD - is the most importand and the biggest international airport in Hungary, also known as Ferenc Liszt International Airport. It is located 16 km southeast Budapest centre. In 2015, the airport registered more than 10 million passengers.
Getting to Budapest from Budapest Airport
In order to reach the centre of Budapest from the airport, you can use several types of transport. There is a public bus line connecting the airport and the centre, line nr. 200E. It leaves every 10 minutes and it takes about 50 minutes to reach the centre. There is also a night bus line, nr. 900. Besides the public bus transport, there is an official airport shuttle service which will take you to any address within Budapest. Train services can also be used to reach the centre as well as taxi services and private transfer services. Some adavantages of a prebooked private transfer are:
