Rijeka Airport - RJK - is located near Omisalj on the island of Krk. The distance between the airport and Rijeka itself is about 30 km. The bus company Autotrans organizes transport from Rijeka Airport to Rijeka. The buses depart approximately 30 minutes after a plane has landed. The bus from the airport will take the passengers not only to Rijeka but also to Omisalj, Opatija, Crikvenica and Kraljevica, more precisely to the respective bus stations. Taking this bus might be a cheap transfer option but its disadvantage is that it takes you only to the bus station from where you have to, by taxi, public bus or private transfer, reach your accommodation.
